In October 2023, home prices in the United States remained stable compared to this time last year, with the median price coming in at $425,000 according to data from Realtor. At the same time, the number of homes for sale decreased by two percent as sellers were less active with 3.2 percent fewer homes being listed.
Here in Las Vegas, there’s a different trend line. Though the median sale price is higher than the national one at $475,000 and is has increased by 5.6 percent since last year, new listings are down nearly 25 percent and active listings over 50 percent. This comes as more individuals are looking to move into Nevada than move out of it.
